Mission

In the age of swift changes in the real estate market, increased use of technology in house hunting, and continual adjustments to regulations in the lending industry, I am committed to offering excellent representation to my clients, whether they are selling or purchasing. While staying in tune with the pulse of the local market, I strive to come alongside my clients throughout every stage of the transaction. With access to cutting-edge luxury marketing tools I utilize when listing a home, my goal is to guide my sellers through the sales process as well as get the highest dollar amount. I offer my buyers consistent, up-to-date information and help them put together a strategy together to win in this highly competitive market. With extensive experience representing out-of-state buyers relocating here, I love being a local resource and helping buyers narrow their search to which areas of Middle Tennessee would best suit them. Having a trusted real estate broker with a wealth of knowledge and comfortability conducting virtual tours is imperative.

My mission remains the same as it has since I first started my career: To earn my client's business and referrals by treating them the way I would like to be treated in a real estate transaction.

 My Real Estate Journey

I have always been drawn toward working with people from the time I was very young. Growing up in Queens, New York, where we have lots of cultures and personalities living in close proximity to each other, I've always loved meeting new people. I love to learn about what's important to them, what their values are, what new perspective could they bring into my life. I spent the first several years of my adult life doing church/aid work in Central Africa where my older boys spent the first few years of their lives. Even while living there, I felt a pull towards business although I didn’t know what that would look like.

Skip over a couple of years and I was a stay-at-home mom in Nashville with three little boys (that are now nearly grown) looking for work I could do from home. I was fortunate enough to work as an assistant to an amazing luxury producer whom I worked under for many years. It wasn’t long after I was licensed I realized that representing buyers and sellers in their real estate transactions was something I was not only good at but I also enjoyed. Plus, it afforded me the opportunity to be with my kids a lot.

I quickly learned about the local market. This was pre-market crash, so I witnessed a boom in new construction, buyers easily obtaining loans, and a huge demand for homes. It was exciting and I am glad I had a chance to witness real estate before and after the recession. I was closing around 20 homes a year by the time 2008 brought everything to a grinding halt. Lots of components of the real estate industry adjusted during that time. Things slowly began to pick up and since then, I’ve gotten to experience the resurgence of our market with many out-of-state buyers relocating here in the last few years. I have also represented investors growing their real estate portfolios by purchasing businesses that are comprised of short-term rentals in our city.

I have branched out into having my own rental properties and short-term rentals, having owned and managed long-term rentals in Nashville as well as short-term vacation rentals on 30-A in Florida and currently a seaside home on the northwest coast of Donegal, Ireland. Walking through the real estate experience in another country offered some fresh perspective to just how meaningful and significant home ownership is, whether owner-occupied or purchased for long-term investment and/or short-term vacation use.

A career that began out of necessity has grown into a beautifully important part of my life. Many of my clients have become some of my dearest friends. I have gone through some growing pains which have required more resilience than I knew I could whip together yet seemed to surface when I needed it. Those experiences are a source of confidence and wisdom that I have relied on to sustain my business growth over the years.

I am filled with gratitude for my clients who trust me to represent them on what is often the biggest purchase of their life. I am proud to bring my years of experience in multiple markets to the table. And I am thankful to work in a thriving city that isn't hard to sell. (I mean, it is Nashville, after all!) Another important component of my career is helping lead our mentorship program as Director at Tyler York Real Estate Brokers - a company that is doing big things without losing our sense of servitude, fostering a culture of kindness, and always striving to put people over profit. Mentoring fellow agents in their real estate journey and seeing their businesses grow has been incredibly rewarding. I look forward to serving more clients in the future and continue to work with the amazing client base that I have and value so very much.

Thanks for being here!
